Yeast
infection diet and foods
Before going on any new diet your
family doctor or naturopath
should be
consulted.

The word diet
is a bad word to some people as they
feel
it will be
restrictive.
A
natural yeast infection diet or a Candida
free diet
is not a
diet as such, it is more of a lifestyle and how
you choose to eat and especially what foods
not
to eat.
Please read on as
this will help you understand that you need
help and
guidance from other people who
have
gone
through what you have gone through
and cured themselves.
It
is all about cleansing your body so the
yeast infection can not
grow
anywhere.

For some of you
following a yeast infection diet will be easy
and
for others it will take a bit of
self discipline, but the rewards are
certainly worth all the
effort.
You can choose to go on a yeast
infection diet for a few days or
for a few months the choice is
entirely yours, the main thing is to
start it and finish
it.
Refined sugar is the main culprit but it can
be caused by a lot
more than just sugar.
If you eat a lot of simple
carbohydrates you will learn that your
body converts this to sugar and
it does it very fast.
You can search on Google for
foods that contain a lot of simple
carbohydrates but a few are
listed below.
White Bread
White Pasta
Potatoes
Processed wheat
White varieties of rice
White sugar
White flour
Corn
Some sports drinks
Most white processed foods and cereals
Processed Honey
Puffed rice and grains
Soft drinks
Vegetable oils
Fried foods
Dairy Margarine
Milk and cheese
Pork
Mushrooms
A lot of
these foods have a high GI (Glycemic index)
and are not very good for you if
you have a yeast infection
and are trying to get rid of
it.
So what are good foods that I can
eat?
Do I have to follow a specific
yeast infection diet?
The books on
this site are very thorough and go into
step by step detail, but without
going deeply into what
the review guides on this site
say, I will try to list a few of
the “OK” foods here, but keep in
mind this is just a very small
portion of the total solution and
you must approach this problem
as a whole
solution.
Good foods to try…
Low GI too.
Green leafy
Vegetables.
These are full of anti oxidants
and can actually start the healing process.
Natural yogurt
Not the little tubs you see that
are low fat and have advertised
on the front of the tub live
cultures etc..
I am talking about the plain
natural yogurt that is set in the tub.
Real natural set in the tub
yogurt that is not heat treated.
This can also be applied
topically as
well.
Crushed Garlic Cloves.
You can put these in health
shakes and smoothies.
You may smell for a little while
so maybe do this sparingly.
( If you have low blood pressure
consult your doctor before consuming )
Hot Lemon drinks
Lemon is very cleansing but use
sparingly if you have an acid reflux problem.
Brown rice and
Buckwheat
Very high in fibre and low in
GI
Wheatgrass and Aloe Vera are
superfoods and very good for yeast infections.
There are so many more foods that
enter into the equation that it
would take pages and pages on
this website and we do not intend
to replace a dieticians advice or
what the books cover in detail.
A friendly reminder:
Before going on any yeast
infection diet consult a medical professional.
Tell them exactly what you are
planning to do especially if you are going
to follow the advice in the
wonderful books recommended on this site.
Please read the reviews for more
information as this will really put
you on the right
track.
These are proven methods and do
work, I am living proof of that.
A yeast infection diet does not
have to be bland or be like eating
cardboard...
but
it will take a little discipline and common
sense.
You can also cleanse yourself of
a yeast infection every few weeks or so.
Again, please read the
reviews
on this site for more detailed
information.
